What do I need to have Done before Adding Merchant Locations to a Program? 📋

All the things you need for your merchants to be live

 

✅  Merchant compatibility
You will need to check that the locations you are trying to onboard are not Shared locations or online. Fidel can provide this service to Mastercard only currently.

✅  Merchant consent
Fidel requires consent from every merchant in order to spot transactions from their payment terminals. You may use the Fidel form to get consent from merchants. Please email [e-mail] to get a copy.

✅  Brands on Fidel dashboard
Brands (e.g. Pizza Express) can be added to the Fidel dashboard via the 'Brands' page. You will need to set up a brand first in order to submit locations to the schemes.

✅  Location on Fidel dashboard
Once the Brands have been added, you can now add the locations for those brands to the Fidel dashboard. 

✅  Merchant Sync
Once all merchant locations have been added to a program, the location data will be sent to the card schemes (Visa, Mastercard & AMEX) to sync locational information. This process typically takes 13 working days.
